Website Management & Maintenance for Boulder Businesses

The ‘Peace of Mind’ Update & Maintenance Plan — $89/month

Staying on top of your website is a pain, especially while running a business. Whatever your site is built on, its software keeps moving: plugins update, platforms change requirements, certificates expire, and code that worked last year quietly stops working. Skipped updates are the most common way small-business sites get hacked; unreviewed updates are the most common way they break.

Our maintenance plan hands that whole job to us, on a set schedule, for a flat monthly fee. Your site gets checked and tested every two weeks.

Protect your website for $89 per month. Larger or more complex sites get a custom quote. Cancel anytime — no contract, no cancellation fee.

What’s Included Every Month

  • Software updates — WordPress core, themes and plugins, or whatever your platform’s equivalent is: applied and tested, not blindly auto-installed
  • Abandoned software replacement — when a plugin or library stops being maintained, we find and fit a replacement before it becomes a vulnerability
  • Compatibility testing — before changes go live, so an update doesn’t take your site down
  • Security reviews — malware and file-integrity scanning, login protection, and server-level monitoring
  • Error log review — the warnings that pile up quietly, triaged so real problems get caught early
  • Backups — off-site and redundant, so a bad day is a restore instead of a rebuild
  • SSL and certificate monitoring — an expired certificate turns your site into a browser warning overnight
  • Page content edits — send us the change, we make it; no wrestling with the editor
  • Image optimization — compressed and correctly sized for faster load times
  • Caching and page-speed tuning — speed is a direct Google ranking factor
  • Uptime monitoring — we find out your site is down before your customers tell you
  • Contact form checks — confirming your leads are actually arriving in your inbox

Additional coding, larger content projects, or new features are billed hourly at our standard rate — quoted up front, never a surprise.

What It Costs

$89 per month for a typical small-business website. That’s less than an hour of emergency developer time, and emergencies are exactly what it prevents.

Sites with e-commerce, membership systems, heavy plugin loads, or frequent content changes get a custom quote based on actual workload. We’d rather scope it honestly than quote low and nickel-and-dime you later.

No contract. No setup fee. Cancel anytime.

What Platforms Do You Maintain?

All of them, in practice. Most of the sites we manage run on WordPress — it powers a large share of the small-business web, and it’s what we build on — so that’s where most of our day-to-day work happens.

But the plan isn’t WordPress-only. We also maintain:

  • Other content management systems — if your site runs on a CMS, it needs the same updates, backups, and monitoring
  • Custom-coded and hand-built sites — including older HTML/PHP sites that predate the current CMS era
  • Hosted platform sites — where the platform handles the server, we handle content, speed, SEO hygiene, integrations, and everything the platform leaves to you
  • E-commerce sites — where a broken checkout costs real money, monitoring matters most

Not sure what yours is built on? That’s common, and it’s fine — send us the address and we’ll tell you, along with what shape it’s in. Call 720-588-0760.

Who This Is For

This plan makes sense if you recognize any of these:

  • You have no idea when your site was last updated
  • Your site was built by someone you’ve lost touch with
  • You’ve been meaning to deal with that warning message for months
  • Your site went down once and you didn’t know until a customer mentioned it
  • You’d rather run your business than learn website administration

We manage sites for restaurants, contractors, therapists, nonprofits, and small companies across Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, Longmont, Superior, Broomfield, and the Denver metro — including plenty of sites we didn’t build.

Already Hosted Elsewhere?

Not a problem — we manage sites on servers we don’t own. If you’d like both under one roof, our managed hosting for Boulder businesses includes free migration, and having one team on the server and the site makes troubleshooting faster.

Need More Than Maintenance?

If your site is dated or fighting you structurally, maintenance alone won’t fix it — we’ll tell you that rather than bill you monthly to prop it up. See web design and development for rebuilds, or SEO services if the real problem is that nobody’s finding you.

Maintenance Plan FAQ

How much does website maintenance cost?

Our plan is $89 per month for a typical small-business website, with custom quotes for larger or more complex sites. There’s no contract and no setup fee, and you can cancel anytime. Additional development work beyond the plan is billed hourly and quoted up front.

Do you only maintain WordPress sites?

No. Most of the sites we manage run on WordPress, but the plan covers any platform — other content management systems, custom-coded and hand-built sites, hosted platform sites, and e-commerce stores. If you’re not sure what your site is built on, send us the address and we’ll tell you.

What’s actually included for $89 a month?

Software updates with compatibility testing, replacement of abandoned plugins or libraries, security and malware scanning, off-site backups, error log review, SSL monitoring, image optimization, caching and page-speed tuning, uptime monitoring, contact form checks, and page content edits. Your site is checked and tested every two weeks.

Can you maintain a site you didn’t build?

Yes, and we do it often. We start with a review of the site’s current condition — software versions, security, backups, speed, and any errors already logged — bring it up to date, then keep it there.

Do I have to host with you to use the maintenance plan?

No. We manage sites wherever they’re hosted. Combining hosting and management is usually faster and cheaper to support, since server-level fixes don’t require going through a third party, but it isn’t required. See our managed hosting if you’d like both.

What if my site breaks after an update?

That’s the point of the plan. Updates are tested rather than blindly applied, and off-site backups mean we can roll back quickly if something slips through. Fixing it is covered — you won’t get an invoice for a problem an update caused.

Is there a contract?

No. It’s month to month, cancel anytime, with no cancellation fee. We’d rather keep clients because the service is worth it than because leaving is expensive.

What counts as a “content edit”?

Text changes, swapping photos, updating hours or staff, adding a page to an existing template, adjusting a menu — the routine changes most businesses need a few times a year. Larger projects like new page designs, custom functionality, or a site restructure are quoted separately and billed hourly.
